Last week was Micheal's third birthday. THREE YEARS OLD!! I can't believe it! We didn't really have a "party" for him this year, due to time constraints on Mommy from the end of the school year. Instead, we just had both sets of grandparents and aunts/uncles come over for some cake and hotdogs. For three years, my mother has always said that it was cheating to buy my child's birthday cake. So, instead, I decided to make the cake that Micheal wanted for his birthday. But, if I was going to do it, I had to make a trial run-through first, just to make sure that it was possible. Because if not, I needed to know so that I could run to Kroger and order one. So, I'll show you attempt number one, and then the one that everyone else saw, and you tell me... how many differences can you find?
Here's cake number one:
And then here's cake number two:
And no, cake number two wasn't pink, the red just didn't look as red in the second picture... don't know why not. So, that's not a difference... look for the others! :)
